Our Story
Specializing in Exterior Living Spaces
Austin Medrano started this company with one truck and a very large vision. At the age of 16, Austin started mowing lawns and drawing landscapes in art class, adding trees, streams, rivers, and houses. At the time, Austin didn’t think anything of those drawings or what they meant. Little did he know that his drawings and love for water would soon be turned into his career and passion.
Austin started off mowing by borrowing any equipment he could find, but he knew he wanted to get more involved in landscapes and water features. He knew he just needed one client to believe him. That one client turned into two and three, which turned into 10, and then 10 turned into 100s of people that Austin has had the pleasure of helping design/build their landscape to meet their needs. Austin launched White Willow Designs to transition over to landscape design and building, specializing in showing people how a water feature will draw you and your family outdoors, how the sound of running water is calming and mesmerizing, and how you can relax and enjoy the time spent at home.
Austin practices a more contemporary yet natural approach to landscape design. With his creative eye for outdoor excellence, he combines traditional materials with contemporary materials and balances them in a way that the modern farmhouse flows perfectly with the landscape to be one.
